Best Wishes from the Great Bear Rainforest.  We would like to take this opportunity to thank the many people who have supported Pacific Wild this year.  Our work would simply not be possible without the dedication and generosity of our staff, partners, volunteers and other individuals.

Warm regards to you and yours,

All of us at Pacific Wild

It’s been an exciting year of research and advocacy for Pacific Wild.
A few of the highlights:

-We broadened our educational outreach in First Nations schools, delivering remote camera live feeds of rarely seen wildlife activity directly into classrooms.
-We brought world attention to B.C.’s declining bear populations on the north coast.
-We have raised the profile and awareness of the alarming threat to wildlife from pipelines and oil tankers in the Great Bear Rainforest.

Please take a few moments to read our year end newsletter.

“In Wilderness There is Hope”

Your support is critical in enabling Pacific Wild’s work to protect B.C.’s coastal wildlife and its habitat.  Your help is needed even more as we tackle the challenges facing our coast.  If you have already made a contribution, we thank you sincerely.

If you haven’t yet had the opportunity to make a gift, you can still take advantage of the December 31st deadline for 2009 charitable contributions.  The Pacific Wild Fund at Tides Canada Foundation supports the charitable work of Pacific Wild.  As a national public foundation, Tides Canada can receive and provide charitable tax receipts for donations to Pacific Wild’s education and research.  We encourage you to consider a monthly donation.  Automatic monthly donations allow us to plan ahead and maintain core support, while reducing administrative costs so that your support goes directly to wildlife protection.
